Soak 12 to 18 clams in salt water to clean.
Sauté:
Chopped garlic
1 red hot pepper or chili flakes
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ cup sake
cut cherry tomatoes
Italian parsley or fresh basil
pasta
olive oil
½ teaspoon soy sauce
freshly grated parmesan cheese
Add clams
Add ¼ cup sake
Steam until clams open
Cook and drain pasta
Add cut cherry tomatoes and Italian parsley or fresh basil to clams
Mix pasta and clams
Drizzle in a little more olive oil and ½ teaspoon soy sauce.
Stir and serve with lots of freshly grated parmesan cheese
Can omit pasta and serve with bread
